What is the age limit to apply for the CUET PG examination?

CUET 2024 has no eligibility criterion based on the age of the candidates. To be qualified for the program, candidates must fulfil the educational criteria.

What is the registration fee for various categories when filling out the CUET PG 2024 application form?

When applying for CUET PG 2024, candidates need to pay the application fee based on the number of subjects they choose and their category. For candidates in India, the fee ranges from 750/- for the General (UR) category to 650/- for SC/ST/PwBD/Third gender category for up to 3 subjects. For candidates outside India, the fee ranges from 3750/- for the General (UR) category to 1550/- for the SC/ST/PwBD/Third gender category for up to 3 subjects. The fee increases with the number of subjects selected, with the maximum fee being 1750/- for candidates in India.

What documents or certificates do I need to upload along with the CUET Application Form?

When filling out the CUET Application Form, candidates need to upload scanned copies of the following documents: A photo ID, mark sheets of class 10 and 12, a passport-size photograph and the signature of the candidate. Moreover, the candidates should possess a valid phone number and a working email ID.

Will the NEET and JEE be merged into CUET?

As for now, there are no plans to integrate NEET and JEE into the Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET. The government has made it clear that there will be no CET for the next two years 2023–24 and 2024–25.

How will the CUET score be calculated?

To arrive at your CUET score, you follow several steps. To begin with, get your response sheet along with the CUET answer key from the official CUET UG website. Next, mark the questions you attempted and note down correct and incorrect answers using the answer key. Add the marks for correct answers according to the marking scheme to get your raw score and deduct for wrong answers. If necessary, proceed to score normalization according to the following instructions: Lastly, you will have the CUET score which decides your ranking and admission for undergraduate in any of the central universities.

What will happen if I am not able to clear my CUET 2022 exam?

If you are unable to pass the CUET 2022 examination then you can attempt other exams such as XAT, MAT, NMAT, and Comedk. You can also enhance your skills through taking online classes in distance learning. However, few colleges permit students in without taking entrance examinations, which is another avenue for secondary education.

Can final-year undergraduate students apply for CUET PG?

CUET PG 2024 is open to final-year undergraduate students. NTA has not set any age limit for the exam. However, candidates can check the age limit depending on the course and the university system of their choice. Also, students in their final semester are eligible to take the exam.

What is the validity of CUET PG scores?

CUET PG exam scores are subject to the validity of one academic session, as per the latest update released by the NTA.

Are there any negative marks for wrong answers in CUET PG?

Yes, there are negative marks for wrong answers in CUET PG. For every question answered incorrectly, one mark (-1) will be subtracted.

What is the application fee for CUET PG?

The application fee for CUET PG 2025 varies depending on the candidate's category and whether they are applying from within or outside India. For up to two test papers, General category candidates pay ₹1200 in India and ₹6000 outside India, with additional test papers costing ₹600 and ₹2000 respectively. OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS applicants pay ₹1000 in India, with ₹500 for each additional test paper. SC/ST/Third Gender candidates pay ₹900 in India and ₹500 for additional papers. PwBD candidates pay ₹800 in India, with ₹500 for each additional paper. Candidates need to review this fee structure carefully before completing their application process.
